1550nm Direct Modulation will cause serious Laser Chirp Effect, which will lead the Laser Bias Current to be modulated by CATV signal, and the Optical Frequency will shift and jitter. The Chirp will cause serious Distortion in 1550nm. This Distortion will become more serious as the Increase of Transmission Distance, Transmission Bandwidth and the Number of Channels. Our device adopts High Linear & Low Chirp DFB Laser, on the basis of 1310nm Multi-Function Optical Transmitter, increasing the Predistortion Compensation and Chirp Compensation that will greatly improves the Transmission Index of the system. It can be used for 1550nm System Analog and Digital Multiplexed Multi-Channel Signals Optical Transmission within the range of 20Km, and also can be used for Narrow Wave Multiplexing and IP/QAM of DWDM. In order to add the 1550 band Inter-Cut Function, this device can also be equipped with DWM Wave Interpolation Device and Optical Adjustable Attenuator, according to the Optical Signal Carrier Value and Main Wave Optical Power Size automatically finishing Inter-Cut Optical Power, and also supporting Network Management Control, to solve the problem of Inter-Cut Power and Level changes caused by the Main Wave Optical Power and Carrier Channel Changes after User Application. The Main Wave Input is 1535 ~ 1565nm, Inter-Cut Wave is this device’s Laser Wavelength.

Special Note:

Although there are many advantages in optical interpolation, the main wave and the interpolated carrier channel change due to the change of demand, the power of the main wave power is switched with the looped network or the multi-line optical path, and the main wave power changes with the power distribution of the front-end equipment room. The latter stage optical amplification is not linear and causes the output level to change, which will cause the output level error of the main wave and the interpolated signal, the level difference increases, and the transmission index decreases.

The application of fully automatic optical interpolation can simplify this series of complex problems, through function settings or network management remote control, to achieve the desired insertion effect.
